Message from AYF Founder: Prof. Kip A. Cates
Greetings from AYF 9 in Taiwan! Let me first of all congratulate the 1st anniversary of BYF. It's great that BYF has managed to get a solid year of work done and are still going strong a year later. This is a real tribute to BYF and supporters of BYF. We in AYF International are impressed by BYF’s track record, inspired by the work BYF is doing in Bangladesh and eager to support BYF over the coming year and many more to come. AYF 9 here in Taiwan is going well. We kicked off our event on Tuesday this week with 75 Asian youth flying in to Taipei from 11 Asian countries. We've finished our Opening Ceremony and City Tour and are now on Day 3 getting ready for our PAC presentations at the Pan Asian Teachers' Conference tomorrow. We have a great group of delegates this year and are glad to see they are working well together.
Everyone here says Hello and wishes you [Md. Imran Hossain (Imu)] could be with us. Our next AYF event (AYF 10) will be in Vladivostok, Russia next November in 2012. It would be great if we could have a Bangladesh delegation take part.
Anyway, this is just a note to say Hello and to wish you [Md. Imran Hossain (Imu)] and your team all our best on your 1st anniversary. Best wishes from all of us at AYF 9 in Taiwan!

Apple co-founder Steve Jobs dies
Steve Jobs, co-founder and former chief executive of US technology giant Apple, who revolutionized technology through his design, marketing and creation of personal computers and mobile devices, has died at 56, after suffering from pancreatic cancer.
The man who forged Apple into a powerhouse and shaped how people listen to music and how they use computers died peacefully surrounded by his family.
Apple said, “Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.”
BYF is also expressing deep mourning on the death of this genius. We wish his heavenly peace at the other world where he is now passing days.
